The Elan Valley is home to a series of dams and reservoirs, built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to supply water to Birmingham. As you travel along the Green Lanes, you’ll see some of these reservoirs tucked into the valley, their glassy surfaces mirroring the surrounding hills.
