CELTIC Trails 4×4 is owned and managed by me, Chris Jones.
My passion for exploring Green Lanes and Off Roading has led me to spend the past 20 years driving Land Rovers with friends and colleagues in Wales, Georgia, Armenia, Russia and most recently in Kazakhstan.
I offer you the opportunity to experience the Green Lanes of Mid Wales which are rural and unpaved tracks and ancient byways that wind through the region’s rugged landscape.
These Green Lanes pass through picturesque countryside including rolling hills, open moorland, dense forests and valleys providing breathtaking views of the Cambrian Mountains, Brecon Beacons and other scenic areas.
Green Lanes in Mid Wales are very popular for activities such as 4×4 driving.
They have a rich history, as many were originally drovers’ roads or old byways used for centuries to move livestock.
Today, they serve as a peaceful escape into nature and an opportunity for outdoor adventure, surrounded by wildlife and the natural beauty of Wales.
Some of the routes can be challenging, with rough, rocky terrain and water crossings, making them suitable for all levels of off-road drivers.
